YOUNG LEADERS NETWORK
The goal of this program is to identify and mentor young people (ages 18-26) who are passionate about making a difference in the world, for their own and for future generations. They are the ones who will inherit the earth, so it’s time for them to feel confident that they can accomplish the goals that they set from an early age and, most importantly, to get to know youth from other countries. We at the World Trust Foundation feel that once youth get to know each other, when they grow up to become leaders of companies and countries, they will be better equipped to increase global racial tolerance and, therefore, peace among nations.
Over the next 5 years the World Trust Foundation and partners will create, maintain and produce a rollout plan that will inspire millions of young people to STAND UP and have their VOICES HEARD. Building the confidence and self-esteem of youth is the stronghold vision that will connect millions and millions of young people on a global scale.
The World Trust Foundation’s Young Leaders Network allows youth to gather online and share their ideas on solutions that will help in matters of social concerns, the environment, social action and more. They will be given ideas and ways to make a difference in their own communities and then make an impact on a global scale.
We are getting ready to launch the first annual Young Leaders Global Summit set for 09.09.09. At the conclusion of the contest we will elect young people to become a member of the Young Leaders Council. They will be given a scholarship to travel from their country to attend theYoung Leaders Global Summitin San Francisco 2009. Over the next 5 years we will continue to identifyYoung Leaders each year and therefore at the end of 5 years we will have identified young leaders leading the way as part of the Young Leaders Council, who will, therefore, inspire their peers of their communities and countries.
One of the major complaints from youth who have attended other conferences is that once the event is over, and they’re back to their routine lives, their passion dissolves. The World Trust Network allows them to stay connected and grow because they are the membership base for the online Social Network of young concerned, global citizens.
The launch of the World Trust Network provides ways for world leaders, corporations and educators to combine their efforts to inspire youth to speak out on issues that face us today, while building consumer awareness to brand companies and corporations that make a difference.
World Trust is partnered with Airline Ambassadors as their media team and youth component to travel on Project Missions. This allows youth to travel to other countries to make a difference in other countries. We brought school supplies to a Cambodian Orphanage, gifts, beds and supplies to a Music School in Thailand, as well as brought them beds to sleep in, and, established a vocational sewing school in a village in El Salvador and more
